Systems we build or look after: website, web app, application handover
The challenge
- —An ageing website that the team found hard to update, and a story about impact that wasn’t landing with funders or applicants.
- —A literacy and numeracy web app that existed only as a prototype.
- —An application system built by another vendor that needed a safe handover into the charity’s own accounts.
What we did
- ✓Designed and built a new WordPress site, launched September 2025: programmes, stories, and a profile for every person in the team.
- ✓Took the literacy and numeracy app from prototype towards a production build on modern, low-cost hosting.
- ✓Reviewed the inherited application system’s code and ran the handover into accounts the charity owns.
- ✓Scoped an impact evaluation with our research partner Dr John Wilcox: what the funder KPIs need, and where the data will come from.
